Rainly is a fierce warrior who trains in the deepest and darkest parts of our subconscious. While the Water Knight’s presence can be terrifying at times, Rainly also brings us to our ancestors and guides us to serenity during meditation. Many legends speak of great life transitions through Flood and The Underworld; the fluid Rainly has much in common with the ferryman Charon and the unchanging nature of change.

 

Rainly helps us understand fear and injustice through tales of villains and doppelgangers. The Water Knight also personifies catastrophe and the fight against it, as in the stories of The Kraken, Gilgamesh and Enlil, Noah and the Ark, Manu and Vishnu, Deucalion and Pyrrha and Yu the Great.
